I’ve been watching a 1970 Chevelle on TwoTraderAuctions for two days. Never used them before. Has anyone here gone through the full process?

I bought a 1968 Firebird there in May. Nothing dramatic. Payment, documents, transport. Took about a week and a half total.

Ask for every document before you wire. Same advice for any auction site.

My brother used them for a pickup. Carriers were slower than the office, but the truck was as listed.

They updated me. I just wish they said 7-10 days instead of 5-7.

Fair complaint. I’d rather get a wider honest window too.

The inspection report on my GTO was pretty accurate. It showed paint chips and a small seat tear, both were there.

Did they mention mechanical stuff too?

Basic running notes, not a full mechanic report.

That’s what people forget. Inspection report is not the same as a full restoration appraisal.

How long does TwoTraderAuctions usually take to confirm a wire? Mine left my bank this morning.

Mine showed confirmed the same afternoon.

Bank cut-off matters. If it goes after cut-off, next business day.

That might be it. My bank sent it around 2:40.

Ask for the wire reference number.

Yes, but only after checking the listing carefully. It’s still an auction.

I bought an F-250. Work truck, not showroom clean. Listing was honest.

How was the interior compared to photos?

Slightly more worn in person, but photos showed it if you zoomed.

Trucks always look better in photos. Check bed, rockers, underneath.

After winning, how long before title docs move?

Mine moved after payment was cleared and transport was booked.

Same. Took a couple business days.

Did you get tracking?

Yes, FedEx tracking.

Always call your DMV too. Some states are picky.

How close did your vehicle look compared to the photos?

Pretty close. Sunlight in photos made paint look a little better.

That happens everywhere. Look at closeups, not hero shots.

Were there any surprises?

Only small rock chips. Already visible in gallery.

Ask for extra photos if something matters to you.

How fast does support answer? I sent a question this morning.

Usually same day for me.

Got a reply after about 4 hours.

Friday afternoons are slower from what I noticed.

They answered the question clearly, so I’m fine with it.

Clear answer matters more than instant answer.

Do auctions there jump a lot in the last minute?

Yes. People wait.

Set your max and walk away. Last-minute bidding makes people dumb.

I already almost went over my budget once.

Then you need a hard number before you bid.

Not really. Transport and DMV paperwork are the only extra steps.

Insurance before delivery is smart too.

No surprise fee on mine, but transport and state taxes are separate things.

Not all, from what I can tell. Some bank, some dealer/consignment style.

Listing I’m watching says bank-owned.

Bank-owned can be good, but check maintenance history if available.

No service records listed, just inspection.

Then bid like records do not exist.

Firebird arrived this morning. Driver unloaded fine, no new damage.

Treat it as strict. Don’t bid if money isn’t ready.

Tell your bank ahead of time. Some flag large wires.
